Harbor breeze fan not working but light works.

Hey everyone I have an older Harbor Freeze ceiling fan in my living room. The fan works but the lights flicker and never stay on. I know the limiter is a common issue that causes the flickering but when I open the fan up I don't see a limiter box or chip. All connections seem good no corrosion.First, turn off the circuit breaker that powers the fan. Next, remove the current pull switch by unscrewing its holding nut. Finally, attach the linking cord to the pull switch and secure it with the holding nut.
