I read the forum and replaced everything that I could find that would be causing the issue. Fan, radiator (went moshimoto), radiator tubes, thermostat (replaced with ripp), water pump, coolant, air filter, sc oil, engine oil.Thread starter. #9. It is currently out of warranty. Last year the Jeep overheated pretty good, starting off as a little higher than normal and then over a few months going to 3/4 temp.Burping the Jeep cooling system can be a real pain. A couple of things to be aware of: With air in the system, you can’t rely on the overflow level to ensure your coolant is full. You have to check the level in the radiator. It is helpful to have the Jeep on an incline, nose up to get the air out.
